Girls day out!!

So I am really slow at updating this thing...Don't ask me why....



About a week and a half ago we (Melita, AJ, and I) had a girls day out. We started off ealy by going to breakfast at JB's. The all you can eat breakfast buffet! YUMMY! AJ ate about half a pig! That girl LOVES bacon!! Shorty aka Melita had about 3 gallons of coke! Me of course trying to watch my girlish figure only had water and air...Yeah Right!

The Before's

Anywho after breakfast off to the Cosmo building we went. We had to wait a couple of hours for our dye test to be done so we got AJ's hair cut first. This was the first time of her doing anything like this. She did so much better than I thought she would. She had such a ball! Everyone was so nice and friendly and joked around with her. She had a whole new and wonderful audience.

Shorty stayed with AJ while I had a facial (It was wonderful!). Then Shorty had her nails done. Took her forever! Then she got her hair cut and colored. (That didn't take long, but she did get HBO for a while.)

I had a facial and then my onto my hair. I was only going to get it trimmed and the highlighted. Yeah. Not what happened. I ended up with about 9-10 inches cut off and donating it to Locks of Love. I did get it highlighted. I am actually loving it!

We ended up there for HOURS! We didn't get home till about 3:30. It was such a good day. Got home cleaned up and we went out to Hondah and to the Haunted House. Couldn't ask for a better day!

The 411 on what's been up with us.

On September 2, 2008 my wonderful mother-in-law (and she is truely wonderful) was killed in a car accident. She is truely missed by everyone! Here are a few things from the funeral.

Since she is now gone Michael and I have moved our family in and we are now taking care of his dad. It is sure a full time job! There is never a dull moment in our house now. AJ does get to spend a bunch of time with her grandpa.

So Brandon was out looking at a friends 4-wheeler and came running back in the house to have me come out and look at it and there he goes at full speed....right into the tail gate. After taking him to urgent care they gave him 6 stitches. He took it like a man! Never even cried. My big boy!!

Our landlords had their children/grandchildren over this weekend so they had a jumper ( I know technical term) and asked if the kids wanted so play. So Brandon being the spastic kid he is was all over that! We convinced AJ to get in also. They really enjoyed it. Brandon was harder to get out though...

San Deigo 2006

So Michael and I decided to just take a trip the two of us and we went to San Deigo. We had never been there so we did all kinds of stuff. Sea World (where we dined with Shamu), the Beach, a short crusie around the harbor and various other stuff.

Oklahoma 2007

So we also went to OK for a cousins wedding. We ended up driving over there and saw some beautiful country! We also stopped at the OK city bombing site and Cadillac Ranch.

These were just sitting there at the site and were not afraid of anyone. So pretty!

Las Vegas June 2006

So we planned a trip with our best friends. We decided on Las Vegas Nevada! We went for 4 days and had a blast! There was so much to see and so much to do it would take weeks to do! It was so dang hot and man we walked our rear ends off! Oh a cool side note is that on our way there crossing the dam they were filiming Transformers. Got a couple of pictures but you can't see it real well.
